Hypefury alternatives for X in 2026

If you want a Hypefury alternative for X, choose Typefully or Buffer for scheduling, Tweet Hunter or SuperX for scheduling plus a viral post library, and Repli for a daily plan and drafts that you post by hand. Hypefury's current site doesn't list X among its platforms, so confirm with Hypefury before you rely on it for X.

We make Repli, so weigh our view with that in mind. We took these details from each company's own site on November 3, 2026. Prices and features change, and we haven't measured how much any tool grows an account.

Does Hypefury still work with X?

We couldn't get a statement from Hypefury, so here's what we can show.

If you use it for X today, ask Hypefury directly. If you've moved to Threads, Bluesky or LinkedIn, it may still suit you well.

Which features you're replacing

Hypefury was known for a mix of features. Here's where to find each one for X:

Before you turn on auto-plug or auto-DMs, read X's automation rules. You're responsible for what happens on your account.

How each one differs

Typefully is the closest match if you just want to write and queue. There's a free plan with 10 posts a month. Creator is $99 a year, billed annually, and adds X analytics and AI writing. See Typefully alternatives if the annual billing puts you off.

Buffer suits you if X is one network among several. Its free plan covers 3 channels with 10 scheduled posts each. Essentials is listed at $5 a month, billed yearly. Check how it counts channels, since costs can grow as you add more.

Tweet Hunter is the most feature-heavy option aimed at X. Discover is $29 a month, Grow is $49 and adds the AI writer, and Enterprise is $199. All include scheduling and a library of 12 million viral tweets.

SuperX lists Pro at $49, Advanced at a $49 launch price (normally $99), and Ultra at $199. It's built around a web app and Chrome extension. At the launch price, Pro and Advanced cost the same, so check what you're getting.

Repli does a different job. It tells you what to post and who to reply to each morning, and it writes drafts based on how you already write. It has read-only access and no scheduler, and it covers only X. If you want posts to go out while you sleep, it's not for you.

How to choose

Switching checklist

  1. Export or copy your best posts and evergreen queue.
  2. Note what's scheduled, and cancel what you don't want to go out twice.
  3. Revoke access for tools you've stopped using in your X settings.
  4. Recreate your queue slowly, instead of pasting in everything. X's rules prohibit duplicative posts, so don't simply recycle a large evergreen queue.
  5. Try one tool for two weeks before committing to an annual plan.

Common questions

Is Hypefury still good?

For Instagram, Threads, LinkedIn, TikTok, Facebook and Bluesky, it may be. We haven't tested it, and it lists auto-DMs and an AI writer. For X, check first.

What's the cheapest Hypefury alternative for X?

Buffer and Typefully both have free plans. X's own composer also has a scheduling option on the account we tested.

Is there a free alternative?

Yes, with limits. The free plans above, plus X Lists, search and our free tools, cover a lot for a beginner.

Does Repli have auto-plug?

No. Repli takes no action on X for you.

Next step

Write down the one feature you used most, and pick the tool that does that best. If it was really "knowing what to post," see Repli's demo.
